The Play Department

The Play Specialists offer a wide variety of play activities, including normalising and diversionary activity, pre- and post-procedural support and preparation and emotional support for child and family. There are playrooms on most wards.

Trained volunteers in association with Children in Hospital Ireland provide play activities in the ward playrooms weekday mornings and evenings.
