Irish Navy hosts Fun Day

Children attending Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children Crumlin enjoyed a Fun Day on board the Irish Navy Vessel LE Aoife on Wednesday 3rd November 2004 .

Captain Peter Twomey and his staff entertained the children of Our Lady's with a tour of the ship and gave them Lunch at the Captain's table while docked on Sir John Rogerson's Quay in the heart of Dublin City.

This is one of the first Fun Days that the Irish Navy will host for sick children.

"The children had a fabulous day out today and we thank the Irish Navy for their generous support to Our Lady's. They have given great excitement to our sick children attending here," said Gerry O'Dwyer, Chief Executive.
